Enough sickness already...

So, yesterday afternoon I started not feeling so well at work. I felt horribly nauseous and actually threw up twice at work, but I knew I needed to stay because I had the morning off for an appointment and then I have Wednesday morning off for an appointment for Morgan. Well I trucked through the rest of the day and then when I got home I still wasn't feeling better and had no appetite what-so-ever. Adam arrived shortly there after with Morgan (he ran an errand after picking her up from daycare) and he wasn't feeling good either. We both lounged on the couch all night. We could tell Morgan wasn't feeling too well either and we found that out throughout the night. She didn't sleep well at all and had a bit of diarrhea that we had to clean her all up from at about 3 am! Poor thing! She slept off an on as did mom and dad until about 9:30 this morning. I texted my boss at 3:30 and Adam called his and said that the whole fam was sick and wasn't going to make it in. My boss had told me yesterday to let her know if I wasn't any better, so she was cool with it, plus she probably didn't want Morgan there if she was sick and get other babies sick. It all worked out. Adam was puking quite a bit this morning, but it seems like we are all doing better this afternoon...still pretty blah feeling, but not throwing up or nauseous, which is good. Morgan seems fine too, so maybe her stuff was just a coincidence type thing. Adam and I are wondering if it was something we ate ... we are thinking the eggs that we had used in our meal the night before...who knows? It was probably a good thing we, or at least me, stayed home today with all this snow ... not sure I would have done so well driving in with Morgan this morning. Everything always works out.

First bout of Antiobiotics

Last Thursday Morgan was diagnosed with pink eye...even though I knew she had it. Wednesday when I was in her room at New Horizon I realized her eyes were gunky and I had that feeling it was pink eye right away. Well when I took her home at 5 they were gunky again so I figured we would keep an eye on it that night and see how it was in the morning, but I still called my boss to give her a heads up. Well Morgan woke up at 4:30 Thursday morning and couldn't open her right eye, so I was pretty much positive that is what she had. I think my boss was hoping she didn't have it, but sure enough I took her in and she had it. So, mom and Morgan headed to Target to get her prescription... it was an ointment to put in her eyes vs. drops. They don't like to do drops for kids her age, so that was good. Morgan and I just chilled on Thursday. She is still happy and talkative, so it hasn't effected her too much. She actually does really well when we put the stuff in her eyes too. What can I say, she's perfect!

This Wednesday we have an appointment for Morgan at the dermatologist. About a month ago we noticed a bruise on Morgan's collar bone that didn't go away so we took her into the doc well nurse practicioner and she said it just takes longer for babies to heal, but a week and a half later it was still there so we took her into the pediatrician. She said that because of Morgan's hemangioma on her arm and tiny one on her lower back that that is what it could be just under her skin so they want her to see the derm. to decide if that is what it is. If that is the case then they will want to do an ultrasound to see if she has anymore under her skin anywhere to make sure they won't interfere with anything important. So keep her in your prayers!

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile... it's the holiday season, ya know how it goes. Hopefully I'll update again before Christmas!
