Miss Morgan has official entered the world of "terrible two's". Don't get me wrong she isn't horrible like yelling, screaming, throwing, hitting, punching, anything like that ... she just likes to test her boundaries, be independent, and let her voice be heard :)
On Monday, she refused to take a nap! She is way too young to start refusing these already! Mama still needs that time haha! I tried for well over an hour to get her down for a nap and nothing! Then of course at supper, she was falling asleep. When it came time to actually go to bed, she didn't want to do that either! ARG!
Today, when she was finished with her lunch she wanted out (she is buckled in a booster seat) and I was busy at the moment. So, she got her drink all over the table and started screaming as loud as she could "OUT!!!!!!" It was kind of funny actually to hear her voice get that loud!
Those are just a couple of the things that have made we want to pull out my hair and smile all at the same time! She is growing up so fast and I know everyone says how they can't believe their kids are growing, but it is so true! I look at her and she is growing into this little girl, she's not my baby anymore :(

My Kids Are Growing
M&C had an appointment yesterday so we got their heights and weights! Morgan has finally broken 25lbs! She's been hovering ever since her 1st birthday! She kept getting taller, but not really gaining much weight. She is up to 26lbs 8oz! Her height was 34 3/4 inches, so almost 3 feet tall! yahoo! Caden wasn't far behind is sister (who is 15.5 months older) weighing in at 24lbs 9oz! I've got a big boy on my hands! I'm not 100% sure on his height, but I believe it was 28 1/4 inches! Caden amazes me, however. I have seen many "big" babies and a lot of them are a little behind the average at reaching milestones such as rolling over, crawling, and standing up, etc. So far, Caden has done all of these before his sister and all around the average time it should be. Caden rolled over at 3 1/2 months, was sitting by 6 months, crawling by 8 months or a little before, and was pulling himself up by 8 1/2 months. He isn't way ahead or anything, but still amazes me! We have been making bets as to when he will be walking. Adam thinks by Halloween so that would put him at 10 1/2 months ... all I know is for sure by a year if not a little before.... not so sure about the Halloween idea! Either way, my kids are wonderful and I love them no matter what the do!

I'm still here ...
I'm sure some of you may have given up even looking at my blog at the rate I update this darn thing. Life is just so stinkin' busy and when I am on the computer there is always something else to do. I really should make time to write though as it is not only good for me, but it's a nice record of our lives!

Really, not a whole lot has been going on. We celebrated Morgan's 2nd birthday the end of August and Caden is now 9 months old. They are just growing way too fast!
Over Labor Day weekend we headed back home to visit and see family. We were initially supposed to go up to the cabin that weekend, but financially we just couldn't do it.
The middle of August we did have quite a scare as my dad had his 2nd heart attack. He is doing better, but now we just have to pray for continued good health.
Daycare is going pretty good, still struggling to get more families which is becoming a bit frustrating but trying to stay positive! I have two families, one of which is expecting, so after that little one joins our group I will have 3 kiddos total that are not my own.
I have really been trying to work harder at my photography and trying to make something of it. I've been taking a few more pictures of people that are not my own kids so that is awesome! I am learning more and more everyday which is great! I'm actually photographing my first senior in a couple weeks! Maybe someday I will have my own studio ... ohhh wouldn't that be cool! I jokingly told Adam the other night that maybe we'll end up building a studio in the basement some day and he said "what about daycare" and I jokingly replied, "we can have daycare on this side and studio on that side" ... only one problem ... that only leaves us with 2 bedrooms :( Guess we need a bigger house!
Plans for the upcoming months include taking a few more pictures and heading home for the holidays. We are going to make it back home for both Thanksgiving and Christmas this year which we are very thankful for! We really would love to start the basement this winter, but we'll just have to wait and see what happens financially! It needs to get done sooner than later that's for sure!
I shall share a couple recent pictures of the kiddos.... Morgan (2yrs) and Caden (9m)
