First Day
Today was the day...I went back to work. It was sad, so thank goodness I only put in 4 hours today. I got up this morning a little after 6 to get ready and such and then Morgan had to eat, so I probably need to get up a little earlier tomorrow. We left the house about 7:15 and I got her dropped off and daycare and such. It went fine...even though they already have her information, I gave them a post it of stuff too. It's definitely different being on the other side of things. I had to call Adam as soon as I left so I wouldn't cry all the way to work. I got to work with plenty of time, so that was good. I did my training and spent about an hour in the classroom. Tomorrow I start my full days in the classroom, so I'll work 8-6 tomorrow which means Adam will be picking up Morgan. Morgan did fine at daycare it sounds like, but I still worry. It will be better when I get to take her to work with me and if I want I can call over to the other room and see how she is doing :) Morgan and I are home this afternoon because I just had a half day today because of a half day on Friday for doctor's appointments. I guess this is all I have for now.

A Few Different Things...
First off, tomorrow I go back to work :( I am pretty sad about it, but it was going to come eventually. At least tomorrow I am just training at New Horizon, so I will only be there for like 5 hours or so I think she said. These first two weeks will probably be the toughest while she is at the daycare in Byron until she moves to NH just because I will be thinking while I'm working how nice it would be to have Morgan at NH. I will post how everything goes tomorrow.
Second, we had visitors today! Jon and Kristina came to visit us and Morgan. It's been awhile since I have seen Kristina, so it was great to see her again and just talk and catch up. The guys basically sat and watched football and us girls shared stories of work and life and such. It was a short visit, but was still very nice. It's our turn to go visit them now!
Lastly, I'm starting to feel dumb. Not that I am dumb or that I'm getting stupid, but I just have this desire and drive to learn more and this time I am really going to go for it. I really would like to go back to school, but right now I know that just won't work so for now I'm just going to start with reading more. I hear of so many good books and all these people who are reading this book and that book and I know that I need to read more. I used to love reading books when I was younger, but have really gone away from that. It's been quite awhile since I've read a book and that is sad. So, today I'm on Amazon searching for some good reads. Raquel, I think I am going to get the book you just blogged about ;) I also think I might pick up a few teaching ones. There is also a political one Adam found and he wants that I don't think would be bad either. The last kind of book I want to find is like a marriage book for Adam and I to go through, so we'll see what I come up with. If anyone has any suggestions, I will gladly take them! I will keep everyone posted on my reads!

Changes, Changes, Changes!!
On Tuesday evening of this week, I accepted a new job! I will no longer be working at Children's Beginnings, but will still be in the same field only at New Horizon Academy. I am very excited about this new job mainly because they offer childcare discount for their employees. So, this means Morgan is going to be able to go to work with me everyday! I will be working in the younger toddler room Tuesday through Friday, so I will be working 4 10's and have every Monday off! This way I get one day a week with my baby girl or I also have the opportunity to pontentially sub in the school district on Mondays then as long as we find someone to watch Morgan on that day. It was hard to leave Children's Beginnings as I really did love it there, but at this point in our lives, I needed to make the choice that was best for our family. I start traning next Monday already (I have to work this Monday because I had already scheduled doctors appointments for Morgan and I on that Friday). However, I am going to be participating in the 17.5 hours of SEEDS early literacy training that starts this Saturday, which is paid for by New Horizon plus I get paid, how cool is that! I will keep everyone posted on how everything goes!

Morgan's Baptism
On October 5th, we had Morgan baptized back home in the same church where Adam and I were married. Since we haven't really found a church home here yet that is why we decided to go back home with a pastor we both felt comfortable with. Pastor Meyer was really great and understanding about us wanting to do it there. All he wanted was that we got the blessing from a pastor down here, which we did. We got the blessing from Pastor Lehman here in Byron. He actually came over to our house one night and visited for 2 hours. We also talked to him about taking new member classes, so sometime in the near future we will be taking new member classes. This does not necessarily mean we will become members, but it's for both Adam and I to learn. I am looking forward to it, because I think it will bring us closer together.
This is my favorite picture from her baptism...
A New Beginning
This is the new blog. Only a select few have access to read this blog, so you should feel special haha, I'm just teasing. There were some issues with my previous blog, so I have decided it best to just completely delete it and start fresh. Plus, it gives me the opportunity to create a blog for our new family.
Adam and I became the parents of the beautiful Morgan Leen on August 31, 2008. She is 7 weeks old now and I cannot believe how fast the time is going by. It is crazy how much she has grown in just that short amount of time. She is my baby girl and I love her so much. It really is amazing how much you can love someone so much!
I do not know what will come of this blog. I will try to keep it updated as much as possible, but for those of you that followed my previous blog, you know how that went. Hopefully this will turn into a small version of our life stores filled with laughter, tears, and love!
